Touch and Click Launches New Website
Touch and Click is an Australian service bureau for Web 2.0 multimedia account management, specializing in web development and online publishing. Touch and Click offers web design, website management, content creation, and graphic design services to clients looking to build their corporate brand identity online. The new offerings from Touch and Click this year include a Copywriting department, Search Engine Optimization services, and Web Marketing plans that include email newsletters, press releases, and PPC advertising. The Shack Group has just finished a redesign of the Touch and Click web site that reflects the new organization and services.
The Touch and Click web site is developed with the Drupal content management system, and reflects the increased focus of our design team in Open Source platforms. The advantages of Open Source development for businesses are many, such as the number of features, extensions, and modules available for web applications, their professionalism, and low investment cost. Touch and Click will offer Drupal-based design services to clients, as well as web sites designed in other Open Source content management systems such as Joomla, Mambo, WordPress, Liferay, Magento, and TYPO3.
The goal of Touch and Click is to provide world-class design services for corporate brands and businesses seeking to build their online presence with innovative Web 2.0 applications. The Touch and Click media group will coordinate with our graphic artists at Perth Print Design, include the ecommerce services available from CommerceBill and Siphem in their development platform, and offer web hosting facilities to clients through RackHost. This lateral approach to resource and task sharing across the Shack Group is part of our integrated account management services offered to clients, and draws upon the talent of all aspects of our organization.
Another area of Touch and Click that continues to expand is its software development and project management facilities. While our clients enjoy the benefits of working with Open Source technology, they need the platforms customized and extended to fully optimize functionality. Touch and Click will be building outsourced relationships with PHP development companies as well as building its in-house knowledge base through new recruitment. The company also has plans to offer ASP .Net development services for clients committed to the Microsoft standard.
